Project Coordinator

Sara Pierce, MPH, is a project coordinator for the Clear Pathways Initiative at Peg’s Foundation, the largest mental health funder in Ohio. She is a dedicated public health professional with a strong academic background and diverse experience in health systems, policy, and advocacy. ​ She holds a Master of Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology, with honors, from Washington University in St. Louis. Sara is located in ​Southern Ohio.

Sara’s professional journey includes roles such as Public Health Law & Policy Intern at the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), where she supported cross-sector collaboration, and Public Health Program Specialist at the Missouri Department of Health, where she implemented and monitored Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) programs. ​ Sara also conducted extensive qualitative research on healthy eating trends on TikTok as part of her senior honors thesis and has demonstrated leadership as a peer mentor and advocate for community health initiatives.
